The Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (HSCA) serves the communities of Hillhurst and Sunnyside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The HSCA’s mission statement is
“to preserve and enhance a healthy and vibrant quality of life for the residents of Hillhurst-Sunnyside”.
HSCA traces its roots all the way back to 1912, but was not registered as a society until 1948. In 1980, HSCA gained registered charitable status and since then we have continued to be a significant provider of social services in the Hillhurst-Sunnyside area and beyond. Our primary services areas are Seniors services (snow removal, housekeeping and lawn care), Outreach Services and Child Care, making us a full-service community centre.
Donations made to HSCA are tax deductible. Donors to the United Way may direct all or a portion of their contribution to HSCA through the United Way of Calgary, Donor Choice program.
