“People have to feel needed. Frequently, we just offer a job and ‘perks.’ We don’t always offer people a purpose. When people feel there is a purpose and that they’re needed, there’s not much else to do except let them do the work.”

Community Kitchen

Our Community Kitchen group would like a couple more participants to join them in planning the menu and “power cooking” once a month.  This is a great way to try a variety of new recipes, meet new people, have fun and save money.  Your only worry will be to provide your own freezer containers, or freezer bags, and to make sure you have room in your freezer for 14 meals.  The next planning session will be on Monday, April 27th at 9:30 am and the “Power Cook” will be on Thursday, April 30th from 9 am to 3 pm.  For more information or to register, call Elizabeth at 283-0554, Ext. 225.
