Sunnyside School!
This beautiful and historic school, built in 1919, celebrates its 90th Anniversary in 2009. There are seven spacious Kindergarten to Grade 6 classroom spaces, a gymnasium and a well-resourced library and computer lab. The sunny, cheerful indoor courtyard is used for a variety of learning activities and family gatherings.
Three naturalized areas highlight the outdoor space. Riverstone Park, Prairie Patch and Aspen Woodland were developed between 1998 and 2002 and represent the flora and geography of Alberta. Children are frequently observed in these areas involved in creative play activities inspired by their surroundings. A large Creative Playground was constructed in June 2004.
