Hillhurst Sunnyside Non-Profit Housing Task Force

The minutes from the meeting on June 10 are below. The next meeting is Thursday, July 22 at HSCA.

Action Priorities:

1. Obtain an inventory of all types of housing in Hillhurst-Sunnyside, including non-profit housing.

2. Compare the new Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP) with the previous ARP in terms of how it impacts the diversity and character of Hillhurst-Sunnyside, with an emphasis on how it will impact housing in our community.

After Thoughts:

3. Need to create a rationale statement on why diversity is important in Hillhurst-Sunnyside. In addition, with the proposed densification of Hillhurst-Sunnyside in the new ARP, need to articulate why it is important that non-profit housing be a part of this new development so that the character of our community is maintained.

How to move forward:

Need volunteers to sign up for each of the above three tasks. Please email David Wilson if you are interested.
