Kids in Hillhurst Sunnyside can play community basketball through the Calgary Minor Basketball Association (www.cmba.ab.ca).
Depending on their address, they either play through: Varsity Community Basketball http://www.calgaryarea.com/nw/varsity/varsity.htm , or Eastview Basketball Association www.eastviewbb.ca.
Hockey
Residents of Hillhurst Sunnyside are in the Westwood Hockey boundaries and register through the West Hillhurst Community Association (whca.ca) by August 15th for the September to March season.
